If you are looking for a non toxic, natural solution to soothing dry hands, you really need to try these homemade dandelion lotion bars!! They are the only thing that has worked on my hands. I am always cleaning and gardening, so I wash my hands so often. They get dry. I try to avoid fragrances and other endocrine disrupting chemical that are in most over the counter beauty products. This has been a great solution for me.
Benefits of Dandelion for the Skin
Dandelions have incredible benefits for the skin. They are rich in antioxidants, so they have anti-aging properties. It’s also believed that they can protect the skin from UV damage.
Since they are high in vitamin C, it’s perfect for applying topically to combat free radicals and signs of aging. Dandelions are also a great source of vitamin K, A and E. They also include minerals, such as iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
